so this could be one of the last blogs i ever do. here. yup, im packing up my idiot bags and heading off to a new blog, with gnome by my side. we've decided (in our thrilling IT lesson) that it would be a good idea to do a duel blog instead (a blog with two authors). we thought that this way, there'd be atleast one new blog everyday. im also thinking of packing in my "captain idiot" persona, and using the "boney" name. after all, that is my name. but if you feel the need, i won't take exception for you calling me "the captain". just make sure you don' call me idiot. that could be seen as offensive. so peeps, make sure you keep an eye open on this blog, so that when i do change my blog url, you can update your own blog list. im gonna go and mess around with the site design now for our new blog, so until i see you again, this is captain idiot signing off...

well im about to head off out with techno-boy (cant be arsed to type mr hardcore house man all the time, so he'll just be techno-boy from now on). he's driving, and im gonna be in the car with him. if i dont return later to blog, you'll know what happened. anyway, hopefully this convention thingymabob im heading out to will narrow down the future of an idiot. i dont know what to expect tonight, a feelings that probably mutual. i dont think tonight knows what to expect outta me. ill see a few buds there tonight. gnome will be there, as will lambo (pisswaff), who had his driving test today. he better pass it. i have the same driving instructor, and if she can get him driving a-ok, im sure ill pass when the time beckons (which is soon). ive got my car sorted out, with the poop about the clutch and all. once i do pass im gonna keep my purple panda for a while and then buy my aunt's ford ka for about £3200. i didnt know i had that sort of money, but apparently i have "bonds". mmmm.... im a rich mo'fo.

so you might remember the other day i advertised for a new best friend when the gnome was going to leave college after christmas. i got millions of replies... ok i got none, but hell, i do have a new best friend... his name... (drum roll please....)

yes, apparenty the gnome is going to stay at college for the rest of the academic year, meaning i wont be left alone i times of darkness. so meh, every things cool again. no in facts its not cool. its kinda hot. when is it going to rain? i like rain. i like snow better. i love snow. snow damn it. last year we had a good snowball fight at college. i kinda died. no really. ask the gnome. i think the phrase "human bait" rings to mind. meh.... shit happens.

ok, so i only have two lessons at college today. one from 9:15-10:15 (which ive been to) and the other from 2:35-3:30 (which i still have to go to). so its a pretty easy day. that gave me four and a bit hours to do not a lot. so here what ive done....

* talked to my brothers girlfriend. usually we dont get on at all, but todays conversation was reasonable.
* watched mr hardcore house man and the gnome try in vain to get msn messenger working at college
* look at porn
* ate 12 chocolate brownies
* listened to the blur "best of" album...
* ...twice
* as well as some muse and suede tuuuuuuuuunes
* play pool
* redesigned this blog
* worked more on the captain idiot experience project
* chewed some gum
* swallowed my gum after i almost choked on it

erm.... what else have i done... cudda sworn i had done more... meh, better get ready for another hour of fun... toodlio-ho

hey, yo (meh, bet you thought i was about to greet all my peeps - well think again - instead i just used a classic scott hall quote. he's a wrestler. ex-wrestler. aka "the bad guy" razor ramon. aka one half of the outsiders. aka one part of the original kliq. but thats enough of the wrestling history trip. lets get into the main poop of this blog.)

theres something about indie rock that i love. its not quite heavy metal rock, but yet can reach the same depth in a blast. plus most of indie music actually means something.... with the exception of blur's song 2. but hell, everyone knows that tune. right now ive got muse's "time is running out" blaring. what a chooooooooooon. its got a groovy video too. ive also got suede's "the beautiful ones", cast's "guiding star", many an oasis song, james' "sit down", another muse tune "feeling good", as well as the new radicals' "you only get what you give", which kind of brinks the border of indie rock. i think the main reason i love it is because i was brought up on it. and when i wasnt listening to indie rock, i was listening to old classic rock. tuuuuuuuuuuuuuunes from the sixties, seventies and eighties. that was tuuuuuuuuuunes as apposed to bangin' tuuuuuuuunes. i mean, im seventeen, and whilst the majority are bursting their ear drums with umph-umph bangin' tuuuuuunes, or bang bang punk tunes, im here listening to ac/dc, motorhead, the kinks, david bowie, t-rex and queen. ok, so i know theres a few people who are my age who like this sort of music, but its got me wondering. my dad used to listen to that music. it was the music of his day. when i have kids, will they listen to music of my time? what is the music of my time? is it umph-umph bangin' tuuuuuunes? can you imagine that? in twenty odd years time, will kids still be listening to ... ... erm ... i dont actually know the name of any ... dance bands? what do you call them? theyre not bands theyre ... groups? meh, DJs i s'pose. its a scary thought.

and yes, this blog just made no sense, but thats because im in the middle of coursework and watching some u17 football. meh, so sue me.

mmm.... ok, so gnome told me today thats hes going to drop out of college after christmas, and to be honest i cant blame him. college sucks right now. its this kind of atmosphere which is why im not going to university. work is flowing in from all directions and has to be completed for the next day. but with coursework on top of that, keeping up with things is a bastard to say the least. ill be quite thankful when the day comes in may next year when i no longer have to do another day of studying. however, the soon departure of the gnome will leave me in the shitter (such a good phrase from yesterday ill use it again today).

im not really that social with people from college. yes i talk to people, but only because i have to. im not shy, i just cant be bothered making the attempt to talk to people who i dont really get along with (which happens to be the vast year group). the only topic i could strike a conversation about is football, but theres only limited possible topics to talk about. this does not fall into the "gnome" category. me and the gnome talk about all kinds of poop. literally. i think we must have talked about 75% of all things possible. i already come home in most of my free lesson times (shows how sociable i am). mmm... therefore, i am going to advertise for a new best friend.

greetings to all my peeps

ok, so i havent blogged for a while. so sue me. the fact is that i probably wont blog again for a little while. reason? too much fekkin' coursework. that and the fact that my life has been sooooo boring the last few days. the only real highlight of the week/weekend was the dilemma i faced on friday. i had £40 to spend... so did i spend it on a new ps2 game... or a christmas present for the mother... it was a case of mind over matter. i didnt mind, and my mother didnt matter. yes, i picked the game. ill get her a curly wurly for christmas (:: nods at gnome ::)...

ok, so im the kind of guy who is laid back in the lessons playing games and chatting, and then attempts to do the entire coursework in the last week or so. and now would be that week or so. add to the fact that i also have maths coursework to do and the result is captain idiot really in the shit pan. in fact im so deep in the shitter that you can only just see my head. heres a list of the things i have to do between now and 11:30 on friday....

* 2 cd covers
* questionnaire
* evidence of me doing the cd covers
* evidence of me using the tools
* evaluating my cd covers
* getting others to evaluate my cd covers
* make sure my work is immense
* whack a lot of numbers into a spreadsheet ...
* ... whack in a few more ...
* ... and then a few more
* work out some figures
* and then whack in more numbers
* make some pretty graph representations
* do a maths exam
* work out what "acid dissociation" is
* catch up on the work i missed today for doing a national maths test
* watch some porn
* play some "smackdown! here comes the pain" and get my stats all up to ten
* talk to the gnome
* hide from pete
* talk to sazzy and tess
* eat all the biscuits in the house

so by my calculations i have.... (:: idiot works out the numbers ::) seventy hours to do all of this in. "easy" i hear you call. yes, it does look easy doesnt it? meh... so how come the odds are stacked up against me for trying to finish most of them at 3am on friday morning? ill see you friday night... if im lucky....
